White Warrior Katana

An extension of the samurai - the deadly katana was a feared and celebrated tradition throughout Japanese history. This beautiful instance of such a weapon is crafted of 440 stainless steel with a gunome hamon (zig-zag) tempering pattern. The grip consists of white cloth wrappings with underlying gold and black needlework in a braided pattern. The gold cast metal hilt has a scene of a dragon wrapped around the blade. The overall sword length measures approximately 43 inches - the blade measuring approximately 28 inches in length. Included is a matching painted aluminum scabbard with white cord wrappings and brown leather loops to enable wearing. It is trimmed in gold.
